Sun Rise on Baldy

You gotta love Sun Valley sunrises......beautiful......Boulder Mountain Tour Saturday watch the weather, we are suppose to get snow. Warm temps, should be a great test for what ski wax to use be sure to ask the guys at the rental shops what to use. Good Luck and ski fast.

Sun Valley Nordic Festival

Sun Valley Nordic Festival starts this weekend....so much happening can't but it all in this post.

Ski the rails on Saturday and Sunday is the Galena Loppet. All next week there are clinics at Galena Lodge and The Boulder Mountain Tour is Saturday Feb 5th. Wax up the skis and get out on the trails. Ski the Rails is a perfect time to practice or race your friends, you can catch the bus at different locations if you get tired.

Full Moon

Its a full moon so night skiing and snowshoeing is awesome. This morning the moon was full till almost 8AM. Will try to get a shot to post.

Partly cloudy today and the temps are in the 20-30 range. Skiing is good downhill and Nordic. No snow in the forecast till Saturday or so. January has great snow, low crowd levels and good pricing. Sun Valley offers all types of lodging.....for all types of needs. Easy drive from Twin Falls, Boise, basically any city in southern Idaho.

According to this photo the fish is calling for snow...well its snowing today.
Almost everything is groomed on Baldy, so great skiing. Snow in the forecast for today through the weekend should make it worth the trip up to Sun Valley.

Its a Beautiful Day
