Its a Fall Wedding!!!


Getting married in Sun Valley is a once in a lifetime event.....its a special place for special events.
Mike and Mary were married at the Howard Preserve on Saturday. The preserve had been in the Howard Family for years and was a special place the Howard Family came to enjoy for several years. The preserve was given to the community as part of the Wood River Land Trust for the entire community to enjoy.
Saturday was a beautiful day for a wedding, Fall in Sun Valley, there is nothing better or more beautiful.
Congrats and Happy Fishing.....everyone else come on up and visit.
Mike looks like you need to mend...
get the slack out of the line if you want to catch a fish....oh...you caught Mary that's even better.......

Treasury Chest winner Joe Manero was back in Sun Valley for a bit of business and some pleasure.
Joe and his family were in Sun Valley earlier this summer for vacation and Joe was back last week for business at the Sun Valley Lodge.
Hiking and Biking still awesome... and the weather is 60-70 every day perfect Indian Summer weather.

Wonderful Weather and Art in the Park



Oh, the parade was great and the weather well 70 and a breeze....yeah......now for the Ice Show tonight then Dallas Alice at Whiskeys and the Labor Day Parade in Bellevue tomorrow. Afternoon music in the Bellevue Park and the Antique Fair at the park in Hailey.....hum lots to get in in a day.
Monday more of the same in Ketchum, Hailey and Bellevue.

Summer is still here so get out and enjoy.....

Oh, fishing on the Big Wood early morning and late evening....good...

Fly Me Away


Labor Day Weekend in Sun Valley

Summer is coming to a close.......but here in Sun Valley we have events all through September and October and our weather is perfect for an extended summer getaway.
This weekend is The Big Hitch Parade....Wagon Days in Ketchum on Saturday. Lots of entries and food and fun for the entire family. The Duck Race will also be held at Rotary Park on Sunday...see those ducks dive and maybe even cash in on a prize. Sun Valley will also have the last ice show performance on Saturday night with Olympian Sasha Cohen performing at the Sun Valley Ice Rink.
Sunday and Monday Bellevue will be where its at with the annual Labor Day Parade on Sunday, music and vendors in the Park and music and vendors again on Monday.
Don't miss out as Dallas Alice will play in Bellevue on Sunday.....
Hailey will also have an Antique Market and shopping in downtown.

The paragliders are also in town, flying above Baldy. Its the National Championships. Check out the competitors and maybe even go for a glide.......its awesome.

Black Sheep in Ketchum

Sun Valley Center for The Arts, Arts and Crafts Festival


This weekend we have the Center for the Arts hosting the Annual Sun Valley Arts and Crafts Festival in Atkinsons Park. Saturday and Sunday......lots of beautiful work get over and check it out.
