Ketchum/Sun Valley 11th Annual Arts Festival


This weekend is the 11th annual Arts Festival. The event will be in Festival Meadows, Sun Valley from 10AM to 6PM Saturday and Sunday 10AM-5PM. Lots of beautiful art and crafts from vendors around the country and even some local presenters.

The weather forecast is sun and 80 degrees....perfect shopping weather.

Saturday evening check out the Exhibition from the Center for the Arts 'Beam,Board,Breath: An Investigation of Trees.......this is going to be great.......

Sunday 'Miz Siagon " at Sun Valley Pavilion, Sun Valley to finish out the weekend.....great!!

4th of July....Let's Party


So much happening this weekend check the events page for more details. Farmers Markets, Antique Fairs, Parades, Music, Food Booths and so much more. Ketchum, Sun Valley, Hailey and Bellevue all have music events this weekend. The biking is awesome......Gondola is open so take your bike up and come down...that's the ticket.
The flowers are all out and its so beautiful......hiking is also very good with most trails open.
The Big Wood is still high so fishing is tough for fly fishermen...your best bet is Silver Creek where the hatches are very good.

Summer is Here in Sun Valley



Today is the kick off for Sun Valley Rhythm and Ride....century ride this morning, mountain biking, bike bath biking, all kinds of biking events and retailers out today between Ketchum and Sun Valley just off Sun Valley Road. Stop in for some great deals.

The hatches are coming off the Big Wood and Silver Creek. The Wood is beginning to drop and Silver Creek, well its always amazing.

Wedding Bells ringing today for DeLuca/Robinson Wedding.....beautiful.....

Sun Valley amazing place for a wedding......anniversary or family gathering...so much to do...gotta run....reception time......

June Weddings In Sun Valley



June is the perfect time for a wedding. ResortQuest Sun Valley has several venues to select from. Above is a photo of the DeLuca/Robinson Wedding Welcome BBQ. The bocce ball game here features Fr. Brno Segatta from Italy. Fr. Brno is a family friend and will officiating at the wedding ceremony. Great home for a wedding or family get together...putting green, bocce ball, large yard for lots of entertaining. Right on the river so you can fish and BBQ all at the same time.

This weekend is Rhythm and Ride....for bikers of all ages....check out the music and the rides.

Gone Fishing


Well the rain has stopped and everything is green, flowers are coming out and so are the bikes.
Today was the Sawtooth Relay and weather was perfect, not too hot the best for a run from Galena to Ketchum.
Tonight lots of music in the Valley at The Sun Valley Pavilion and Hailey Rodeo grounds.

Bike path is great, smooth riding......Townsend Gulch tonight for a Mtn. bike ride, Red Bull at the top and then downhill to Bellevue for pizza at South Valley Pizza.

Get out and enjoy the mountains.....

Farmers Market


The Sun Valley Farmers Market is now open. Tuesdays in Sun Valley and Thursdays in Hailey.
Stop in for fresh local produce and all kinds of goodies. Music and local artists also in attendance.

Get ready for a big music weekend. Sun Valley has the Acoustic Weekend, with The ?Duhks, Justin Guarini, Zee Avi, Molly Venter, Ethan Tucker, and Alejandro and Maria Laura. Tickets still available and great lodging deals at ResortQuest Sun Valley.

Band Fest in Hailey at the Rodeo Grounds, with Bruce Innes, No Cheap Horses, The Kim Stocking Band, Up a Creek, Damphools and Muzzie Braun.....only $10..........what a deal.
