Snowing Today

Here is a view from the top of Baldy......snowing off and on all day. Skiing is great!!! Sun Valley is also hosting the 1st Annual Sun Valley Nordic Festival...lots of events daily with the 35th Boulder Mountain Tour on Saturday.

Lots of live music in Ketchum and Hailey this weekend also so check out the paper for the latest and greatest.

Snowing off and on Today!

Skiing is great on Baldy, Dollar or on any of the Nordic Trails. Ski the Rails this weekend and that is a kick off for the Sun Valley Nordic Festival....stay tuned will add more and photos.

Snow and Sun

Three feet of new snow and the sun is out. Get out today and enjoy the great skiing and weather. Downhill or Nordic both types of skiing today should be great. Other activities like skating, snowmobiling and snowshoeing will also be great fun this weekend.

San Fran's Hot Club tonight at the Church of the Big Wood......going to be great 7:30PM call The Sun Valley Center for info and tickets. Apples will have the Hannenkahm race today on TV, happy hour specials so stop in and Bruce Innes at Papa Hemi's. Lots to do and lots of music and food options this weekend.

Two Feet of Snow in Three Days...

Over two feet of snow in three days makes for great skiing on Baldy. Dollar is also great for the kids, lots of power to practice in and the terrain park is open and so is the tubing hill. Baldy will be open wall to wall some lifts may be late due to avalanche control but Warm Spring side is great skiing until all the other lifts open. Stay close to the tree line for the best skiing and visibility......see ya on the slopes.

SNOW in in our Forecast

Sun Valley received another 9 inches last night, 21 inches of snow so far from the last two storms. One more storm on the way for the weekend.
Skiing is amazing and it won't get much better, everything is open, some runs may open late due to avalanche control. Get up and out skiing.
