Sun and Powder Janaury 9th

Stopped on my way to work to take a photo.....the Elk were out but they were behind the trees at Greenhorn Gulch. One shot is of the Sawtooths north towards Stanley, the other is the backside of Baldy shot from Limekiln Road...you can see the top if you look on the right... Anyway lots of fresh powder, no storm last night...thats the way it goes...sun today maybe snow for tonight....anyway its great skiing or just being outside.....

SUN VALLEY POWDER!!!!

POWDER!!! Get out to your secret stash!!!! We have received over 21 inches of the best powder...... Winter Storm watch tonight with 10-20 more...really...we are hoping!! No mountain skis better when there is powder and all the lifts are runnning. I will try to get in another photo tomrrow, here is yesterday with a small break in the storm. If you can't reach us were skiing or shoveling or digging our cars out....

Winter Storm Watch

Winter Storm Watch for tonight into tomrrow!!! Thanks for the snow Santa.....

Lots of Christmas activities going on in town and in Sun Valley, tourchlight tonight at dark, cookies and Christmas Cheer in Sun Valley tonight after the tourchlight. Gotta run, if you are flying in check your airline, flights are not coming into Sun Valley due to snow...sorry about that..let us know and we will leave your lights on in your unit and your keys will be in the late night box. If your driving be careful and look out for Santa and the reindeer, they will be working late tonight....A toast to POWDER on Christmas morning!!!!

POWDER.....ALERT.....

POWDER!!!! Snow for Christmas, finally... we are getting some great snow, over a foot in the last two days. More in the forecast for today and tonight. Baldy is skiing great, Seattle Ridge is open and Easter Bowl is skiing great also.....Dollar is open with the two new quads, fast....great for beginners, kids and tele-boards.....Tourchlight on Christmas Eve so be on the lookout. See ya!!

White Christmas

Now that there is a blanket of snow over the entire valley, it finally feels like Christmas is really almost here. And it looks like there is more snow to come!

Snow!!! Snow!!!!! Snow!!!!!!

Yippee!!!!!!!!! Its snowing 8 inches last night and more on the way today. Skiing was great this weekend, even with less terrain... Winter storm passing through today with snow in the forecast off and on for a week. Dollar has two lifts open as well for beginners and Kids. Dollar is great on Telemark skis for beginners, you can do laps on the new quads....no lines no people.... Stay tuned for more terrain opening updates.... Top of Baldy
