Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain Opening for Thanksgiving Day

We are all thanking Sun Valley Company for our early opening.  Colder temperatures helped with snowmaking on Dollar and Baldy.  The Ski Resort will open with 4 high-speed quads and two magic carpets for kids.  the lifts will service 11 runs and a progressive park on Bald and Dollar mountains. 
Mother Nature looks like she has some changes for us this weekend.  Stay tuned for snow updates!

July is amazing in Sun Valley.  Events and activities every weekend, with plenty of fishing, hiking and biking to satisfy all levels of athletes. 
The river is back down and is clear so fishing is amazing.  Get out early morning and late evening to maximize your chances of catching the big one.

Summer is Here, Elkhorn Golf Course is Amazing!

Summer is here and its time to Play.  Everything is open and there are more activities and events then you can count.  Golf, hiking, biking, fishing and lots more to enjoy.  This weekend is the  Sawtooth Relay. Team of 6 will complete 12 race legs beginning in Stanley, Idaho and finishing in Atkinson Park, Ketchum.   Total 62 miles......beautiful weekend to watch or participate.  Live music in town and great deals on lodging.  Dont' miss out get up to Sun Valley this weekend!

Rail Jam & Cold Bowl Saturday-Sunday!!

CandyGrind and Sun Valley Resort will present a Spring Rail Jam, Saturday, March 30 at 1 pm at Dollar Mountain's Rail Yard. Entry is free with registration at Carol's Dollar Mountain ticket window.
The next day, Easter Sunday, March 31, Dollar's last day of the season will be celebrated with the 4th Annual Cold Bowl Pond Skim. Registration begins at 9 am with the event beginning at 10 am. Everyone is invited to celebrate both springtime events featuring lots of fun, music and outdoor food & drink service on Sunday. Costumes are encouraged for the Pond Skim.

The Rev Tour is Here!
500 snowboarders and skiers are in town for the Rev Tour this week, making use of every square inch of Dollar's 22-foot Superpipe, Terrain Park features and Cross course. Among them are standout local athletes Langely McNeal, Chase Josey and Ryan Roemer. Sun Valley is stoked to host the Rev Tour and is really, really proud of our homegrown kids who make it all look so easy.
